The aim of the Project titled “Development of Safe Road Design Manual, Training Manual &Training of Trainers” was to prepare a safe road design manual named’ Rural Road Safety Manual’ and a training manual named ‘Road Safety Training Manual’. Besides, a template set for different road geometry and a case study book were also prepared. All the manuals were also translated in Bengali version for the ease of the engineers of Local Government Engineering Department (LGED). The project was funded by LGED-World Bank.
